You always remember your first love. Don’t you…?’I loved it! So funny and warm. A delicious read’ Marian Keyes
’Hilarious, warm and life affirming’ Jenny Colgan
It began with four words.
‘I love your laugh. x’
But that was twelve years ago. It really began the day Georgina was fired from The Worst Restaurant in Sheffield (© Tripadvisor) and found The Worst Boyfriend in the World (© Georgina’s best friends) in bed with someone else.
So when her new boss, Lucas McCarthy, turns out to be the boy who wrote those words to her all that time ago, it feels like the start of something.
The only problem? He doesn’t seem to remember Georgina – at all…
This irresistible new book from Mhairi McFarlane is the perfect story to escape with. Compulsively readable, absolutely hilarious and deliciously romantic, you will not be able to put it down.

Tedious
To drawn out, almost at the end to get to the point.

Absolutely loved it
I laughed and I cried. I will remember this book forever for what it made me feel. I nearly didn’t read it - but I’m soooo glad I did. If you enjoy a great chick lit feels book - this it it 💘

Don’t You Forget About Me
Another absolutely surprising story of real characters, somewhat flawed, as we all are, and of life with the reality to bore you, bring you to tears, and laughter, and with the joy we all experience. A reality I became lost in and am grieving the characters as I close this book. I want to live on with these friends, who slowly left the pages and let me care about their lives. Can’t wait to read another of Mhairi McFarlane’s books.

Same same but different
I’ve read all of this author’s books, & loved them all. They are the same but different. Great if you like a story that develops characters as they go, & become almost completely different from what you thought at the start. Very funny, witty & lots of laugh out loud moments. Thank you for them just what I needed

Can relate!
I think I loved this book because I could relate to the character and some of the situations. Good solid fiction read, great characters and would love to see this made into a UK rom com film 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Not her greatest
So drawn out with not much substance. Trying to be relevant in today's climate with a #metoo moment that just ends up being out of place and not with the flow of the story. Pretty anti climatic too

Don’t You Forget About Me
Love it. It’s in the same genre as Hello with many years between encounters. I read it a second time because it was great to get inside the characters.
